The Aquablade11 Requiem within my deepest regrets:

 Before anyone can read this, PLEASE understand I am not anti-LGBT, especially anti-trans whatsoever. I am an individual-born female, diagnosed with Aspergers and Autism, who wishes she is a boy sometimes while I struggle with my life issues especially periods. I respect the saner individuals who openly expresses themselves regarding their headcanons and sexuality. I just can't stand the extremists or the politics that kept popping in my social media feed. Especially the war related ones. 

Regardless, please do NOT harass her to continue Sunrise, or upload the Bidoof-locke or  any of the videos on Twitch which still has the Feraligatr symbol (Twitch has a storage limit sadly). In regards.

This post is also convinced by Requiem of Cyngus Destroyer. Cygnus Destroyer/LJN Defender is a video game reviwer from the golden era of Youtube, but late 2023, they nuked all channels and social media.

A Blast from my childhood and where it left off: 

May 2020 is the month when the last Sunrise Episode was released on YouTube. And somewhere around Fall 2020, he left a google doc (Which I no longer have the link) knowing he is too extremely depressed. Explaining he has not touched the next Episode of Sunrise in about over a year and the only answer if it will continue is just "Someday." While I was still his Discord to hear about it, I was suspicious, but remained on his Discord, albeit never making any activity.

His last comment on his channel regarding Sunrise is:

"Hey there! What did you think of this episode? Was it good? Good enough to watch over and over? … Well, I hope so, because this might be the last one for a while. Yes, I know I said a couple episodes ago that videos would be up every two weeks as opposed to one. Unfortunately… Chapter 9's progress is at a standstill, and it has been for a very long time. I had hoped that if I gave myself more time by spreading out episodes further, maybe I'd get over the roadblock and finish it, but this was sadly not successful. A large chunk of the episode is technically complete, but I'm not sure I'm happy with it. Whether I continue it the way it is, or scrap it and start again, I'm still stuck on what should happen. I cannot promise when it will eventually get finished, but rest assured that I'm trying my absolute best. Once it does get finished, I'd love to say that episodes will resume as normal afterwards, but I have no way of knowing that for sure at the moment, unfortunately.

That's what left of the comment from my past gmail lists. It had the old link to his Discord channel which doesn't work anymore.

May 27, 2021. "The End of Aquablade11"

As documented by “The End of Aquablade11" (I also no longer have link to the doc) Aquablade11 aka Mike Augosta is now Allison Augosta and now goes by she/her instead of he/him. Her Discord server is now Alliana's Cove while her twitch name goes by alliannasukiru (before the name change again to AllisonIsGaming). I was bewildered by the sudden change before leaving the server without further explanation. (Even then I may get banned for that reason.)

I wrote a real angry message on my cancelled rewrite of the Aquablade11 Chronicles and then abandoned it before orphaning it a year later. (No one would read anyway except a few 100 people.) At this point, I lost hope that Sunrise will be continued. (I cared less about the Bidoof-locke. Needlessly to say, I regret it as the years passed, especially the time I wrote this.

And I wish I shut up about it at this and moved on to my own non-Aquablade11 hobbies. I commented on my beliefs Sunrise will never finish because as I said it vaguely, "He doesn't want it be called Aquablade11 anymore." I apologize to the two people who still wanted the answer.

And shortly after (I believe) that, she disabled comments on all and everyone on her videos on that channel. No one can comment on them and no one else can explain.

Somewhere in between that time before I shuttered my old Twitter account: I asked why all comments on all Aquablade11 videos. Didn't think she would delete the comment at the same time but here's what it is:

"I disabled comments for personal reasons but I would rather not delve deep into them now. They would be reopened if I ever finish Sunrise."

And regarding someone begging her to upload more videos (suspended account, sadly):

"I'm really sorry, but this channel is on hiatus until further notice. I'd really like to finish Sunrise someday, but it really isn't in the cards at this time in my life. I don't want to promise that it will for sure be finished, but trust me, it hasn't left my mind."

At this point, I believed the promises are just abandoned.

 

Feb 12, 2023: Retrospective?

I made a retrospective about Aquablade Chronicles. But no one watched it. I only have 21 views on that video. I used my own voice too. It also mostly rambling about how much I hated modern Poketube. The current state of Pokemon Youtubers.

 

Jun 15, 2024: Comeback? Never get your hopes up.

C. Rosea replied to me on my lament on missing Aquablade11 on his BlueGatorGaming channel: "he seems to have posted a video on this channel 3 weeks ago, with a few more uploads over the preceding month or so. maybe he's not back back but he's at least around enough to put stuff up."

This made me ashamed of my first attempt of a retrospective mostly because of having so many unrelated shit inside and using my old sona. (A mismatched mess of Mortal Kombat concept art) so I privated it.

And another comment asking if Sunrise will ever be finished. She only replied with that gif of Magic Conch Shell: "Maybe someday". 

And another one asked about why she can't link the Twitch channel with these archived streams: She just changed it. But can't really stop anyone from linking it if they wanted to. I wish I did that instead doing another snark that she quit the Aquablade11 persona because she transitioned.

 

...Yes, you guessed it. I made her disable comments on the BlueGatorGaming too. And now that's when I realized. It's possible he might have indeed moved on from Aquablade11. I thought she abandoned YouTube entirely and not read that hurtful comment. I just hated modern Poketube and all the content from it that YouTube shoves under recommedantions when I watched seak's Pokemon Amie videos. All the creative sprite series content that once roamed 2007-2013 YouTube is now just nothing but soulless slop from popular Poketubers like poorly done challenge runs and other ridiculous thumbnails that I refused to watch.

It's my fault that he disabled comments all of her channels. It's my fault she finally quit YouTube and stayed on Twitch for the rest of her internet life. And I wish I can withdraw all these hurtful comments I sent to her back on YouTube before she spotted them and then closed all the comments.I thought she no longer uses YouTube and thought she'll never see it.

Honestly, what she could have done was go ahead and delete my hurtful comments and block me. If she finds me annoying, she can just block me, leave the comments section alone and never talk to me again. I never interacted with her since that day anyway. That's what a fan did to me when I can't shut my mouth. I'm extremely sensitive and autistic too, but I would probably prefer having her block me rather closing down comments. That way, at least anyone can comment that they miss Aquablade11 too. Ever since then, her Aquablade11 self is just a mark of history while these thoughts still never left my mind.

The only answers I found that are she now works in a bank on Twitter in 2024 and one comment that about alliannasukiru with an expired link who is an admin to her server. I assume she was gone after that. The Aquablade11 Twitch channel is completely blank.

July 18, 2025: The Last Resort

I decided to ask what happen to Aquablade11... on 4chan of all places after the Aquablade11 wiki didn't give me an answer. Despite the expected toxicity, I finally found my answer. Her twitch channel is now AllisonIsGaming and the elf-like oc she commissioned is now changed into herself(?) in Dawn's Outfit. Even to this day, he still stream games she likes, especially Pokemon and I even saw her streamed Monster Rancher before. I didn't subscribe to her because I don't have a twitch account and I can't sit still during streams.

While my search on what happened to Aquablade11 finally concluded, conspiracies in my head still clouded my mind. She got a wife and 2 kids to take care of along with a heavy work schedule. One of the descriptions on her last uploads on YouTube on BlueGatorGaming mentioned her kids were interrupting while she when it’s still a he streaming after all. And she mentioned memories…

The reason why Sunrise never finished and everything else I guess: Besides losing passion and only leaving a few vague hints, what if her Powerpoint subscription expired and her old CPU died and can no longer afford it? What she was fired from her job and/or her wife left her and took her kids along? I think the biggest explanation is that she just got sick of Youtube's changes like me and everyone else and left and now Twitch is her income now and now she dedicated her life to streaming. And honestly, I think this is the one of the better ending for her, despite disappointing to me and maybe the rest. Massive layoffs happen so much, and I failed to get a job. AI has taken over jobs and the internet, including YouTube. Myself, I am moving to a YouTube Alternative so I can be safe than sorry in case the AI bots terminated my channel. I also worry about whether I'll live in the future too. I would like it if she finally returns to the public and debunk all these dumb conspiracies that clouded me.

 

Am I transphobic just because I left her discord server after that trans revelation?

NO.

Before you start throwing torches, cancelling me to go KMS and report me massively, please just hear me out.

I left her server due to conspiracy theories about "SJWs" from the early days of the internet because monopolies take over, I heard memes and posts about how bad they are, and I just left because I fear it'll take the turn for the worse and become flooded with politics. From what I heard, another 2010s Youtuber, Cygnus Destroyer went a similar way after they turned nonbinary and unlike Aquablade, they nuked everything in 2023. The reason why it took so longer after Aquablade went silent, because I tend to avoid talking about politics and touchy subjects as they tainted the internet used to be for me. But it turns out, she wants to avoid politics and conflict just like I do which is why she doesn't use Twitter anymore. (despite my vague memories of her posting that type of content before in the Alliana channel which is gone or can't find, btw.)

The early hurtful messages I sent to left are more out one of my emotional impulses I failed to keep to myself. Sometimes I lose control, and the wild things let lose. Asperger syndrome is a cause and effect situation and most of the time, I failed to fear the worst. And it's not until long I found out the damage has already been done. (I'm a student after all and I get occupied a lot between my hobbies.) But still, I respect other people who support LGBT rights. After all, I did make one pride art before. (Out of Jacqui Briggs from Mortal Kombat. After all, one of her costumes is just canonically asking for it.)

I hate unfinished fanfiction, especially deleted ones and the way "someday" is used, it evolved into just a fancy buzzword for never and it's just to cover up broken promises. Several Ao3 fics I love especially the Crystal Story II rewrite are discontinued either because they lost interests or basically don't want to finish it. And I feel upset, but I also never finish my fanfic too. My only sprite series: Chem And Aquablade: The Curse of Black Wizard is never shown to the public because 14 year old me doesn't know how to use YouTube or upload video without the shaky camera. I don't know what a HyperCam is. That was back when my sona is still a pink and purple Typholsion. I don't like it so much, that I halted the second season after making the title: The Tyrant Zygarde. (It's in response to no third Kalos game.)

Mortal Kombat Armageddon All-Stars is my second attempt of a Powerpoint story, inspired by past Total Pokemon Island shows that used to roam YouTube. Cancelled completely due to college, losing interest in Mortal Kombat and no longer willing to finish the cringe I started in high school. I guess it's the same for the rest who made Powerpoint stories before. Now, I just make little skits. Currently, I am aiming to be an animator.

The only reason why I want to get this out is because after the last episode of Sunrise and posting one more on Twitter, she went completely silent without any more updates since. And I'm really curious about what even happened. I hated when content creators ghost their audience like that. No more updates, no announcement they retired and once-in-a-blue-moon uploads. I felt betrayed after just a year and got too curious. And honestly, I think Aquablade's old fanbase should know what happened to her after just vaguely explaining on Twitter just so they can understand.

 Conclusion: Parting Ways

I'll let her live her life as a rest as a LGBT+ queer twitch Pokemon streamer and I'll be parting ways with Aquablade11 or AllisonIsGaming for good as this curiosity has finally concluded. However, she'll forever be part of my childhood, which drove me to making sprite mashups back in the old days and quite the inspiration to making stories with Powerpoint. Even since then, I still have Aquablade's old sprites and the bad Ruby hack she made in my drives!

Today, I am an animation major who draws and games on occasion while I look for a job. Kudos to you, Allison Augosta, even though you'll never see this, I hope you're doing fine!

The Aquablade11 videos reuploaded on Wayback Machine is only for archival purposes, not meant for endorsement whatsoever. As shown with Cygnus Destroyer gone, no videos will last forever. You never know when they disappear and no longer online for everyone to see.

I hope someday, she'll give YouTube a breathe of fresh (albeit dystopian) air again with every upload of her past streams and the rest of Sunrise. Especially now that LGBT+ gaming channels are more welcome with open arms.

For now: I think we should treat AC's 4 Sunrise just like NES Godzilla Replay, Kombat Kids 2: Kidsquest, Knifez's Despair Island Season 3 What-If and all of the other unfinished fanfics with broken promises from all the internet. Maybe they get a spurt of updates in an alternate timeline. Or better yet, remember where there used to be a fanmade chapters for NES Godzilla Replay? I think they can do the same to Sunrise too.

Update: So it appears the video where she used to be Aquablade11 is now gone. It feels like she actually wanted the AllisonIsGaming and the Aquablade11 to be separate personas. ENTIRELY. The Aquablade11 handle is still on Twitch but it's empty. Probably to avoid identify theft.

I still believe she left Youtube permanently because she couldn't stand the changes. Well, I can't blame her. But I still have to use it for my animation. She did indeed make a new channel, but nothing was posted there.

 I know I said I'll let her live her life but when her friend SuperSonicGX (also from the golden ages of Youtube) made art of her for Valentine's Day, I knew again for where she is now.
